I had discovered a method of fetching Google News for the search term of my choice to keep my users updated with the latest news on that stuff. But as it was an unofficial way I did not disclose it to everyone and kept waiting when Google officially allows us to embed news in any site.

Shorten your Url Address to Send them on Internet or do mobile blogging

Many a times you get tired of the big Urls in posting your links on emails or sending it to your family or friends. Another major problem in posting big urls is that if the link breaks somewhere the receiver will not be able to open the desired links you sent.

The good news is that you can shorten your Urls from long length to short ones. Such services are really helpful in mobile blogging or websites like twitter where message length is generally short or say SMS types. There are two services I used for shortening the Urls:
