Google is certainly stepped up into niche marketing by involving their works in basic Technologies. After taking up the specialized areas of Computer Science like Search Engines, Google Adsense, Google earth etc., Google is going to launch G-Phone on 23rd September, 2008 in New York City. G (Google) Phone is based upon the android Operating System.

Android is already a free and open source OS which means that it can ave both forward as well as backward compatibility with major carriers. Google is all set to make Android, a dominant operating system for mobile phones. As Android is designed to improve the speed and quality of using the Internet on handsets, it makes it Next Generation OS for mobiles.

Another thing of note is that Google will also expand its Adsense for Mobile Content. Google aims to recover the Android development cost by advertising instead of subscription fees. This is really interesting. Google is playing a dual shot.  First trying dominate Mobile Phone World and Second is to accelerate their Adsense with different methods.

In both the cases Google is going to fetch a lot of Business which makes it a win – win situation for them.
