Google Introduce Smileys and Emoticons in Gmail

October 27th, 2008 by Manpreet | Filed under Email, google.

Offlate we all have praised Google to be one step ahead in all field they are in. When most companies were at a level of making just an email, Goole came up with Ajax. This revolutionising concept made Gmail unique as it had chat enabled within Gmail Window.

But this week we witnessed a major turnaround with Google copying the prominent Yahoo Mail feature of Smileys and Emoticons in GMail. Though its a very old concept of YahooMail but Google has introduced this feature to public few days back in an announcement at Gmal Homepage and blog.

Now we certainly predict that Google is ina ravishing mood to destroy small players in the market. Either by acquiring or copying them. This is perfect visible in case of Orkut Copying Facebook or even Google Blog Search pirating Techmeme.
