Question: I’m fed up of maintaining separate email accounts and want to work with Gmail but don’t want to delete old ones(like on msn or Yahoo) as I have circulated them also.. What is the solution?
Solution: The answer is very simple. Just follow these steps:
1.) Go to labs tab your Gmail page.
2.) Activate Multiple Inboxes.
3.) Set up a filter to auto-archive all mail sent to your work or other address.
4.) Go to the Multiple Inboxes tab under Settings and set up one of the panes to search for mail sent to your other address.

5.) Use a “custom from” address so that replies will be sent from Gmail but as if they’re from your other account. This way, your coworkers or classmates or others won’t know the difference.
