Videos will now carry search weightage: Google Universal Search team

Google Universal team has done an excellent job to make your Google search better. In a series of experiments Google has found how users scan the search term results in a top-down fashion.

After their experiment on Eye Tracking Google team says:

Eye-tracking gives us valuable information about our users’ focus of attention — information that would be very hard to come by any other way and that we can use to improve the design of our products.

In addition to this Google has also decided:

1.) To put high quality videos(which is new) in your search also. (this in turn means that it is a good trick to get top spot (1st position) in Google Search.

2.) To make sure that images (which are already included in Google search) do not effect your searching potential they will be placed below.

If you have video blog there is a good news for you..Google Universal Search team has announced that Embed Videos will also feature on first page of Google Search. So now embed videos to get in top 10 of Google.
