Google quick fire updates at Engine, open source & Mobile Apps

Google App Engine basically allows you to host your Apps free on Google. In a latest update Google App Engine team announced that App Engine will now bigger stronger and lot more spacial.

The major updates at App Engine include: No more “High CPU Requests”, Response deadline raised to 30 seconds and  Size limits on code files, static files, and requests/responses have been raised to 10MB. Also  SDK version 1.1.9 has been released with Python support

On geek front Some Oxford guys have hacked Hardware to signal people on when to turn on household items like fridges whenever the UK power grid has spare capacity.

For mobile users MyTracks that allows to track your daily activity has been jointly tested by Google Mobile and Twidroid team.
