MTNL 3G Jadoo: the 1st & only 3G mobile services launched in India

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) is on a rampage for its new services for web and mobile users. A few months back MTNL launched its ipTV for broadband subscribers. Now its the turn of 3G services.


Launched with the name of 3G Jadoo, this 3G service would enable MTNL Dolphin/ Trump subscribers to enjoy:

  1. Video Telephony – Customers can watch and talk simultaneously through Video Call.
  2. High speed internet for smart-phones and Laptop from 256 Kbps to 2 Mbps.
  3. VAS services like
  • Mobile TV
  • Location surveillance
  • Streaming Video on Demand
  • Gaming etc.

Initially, the coverage for 3G services would have core of Delhi covering Connaught Place, Sanchar Bhawan, Rajaji Marg, India Gate, Pragati Maidan, Delhi Gate and Minto Road.

The commercial tariff would be announced and registration shall start after the commercial launch a couple of months’ later
