Quillpad is an online typing toll which allows you to type your emails in popular Indian Languages. Quillpad which was launched in late 2006 uses unicode character typing technology that allows users to send e-mails in Indian languages .Off late Quillpad is using artificial intelligence (AI) to browse web pages or any documents containing Indian language content to learn that particular language’s patterns automatically that enables it to have predictive transliteration.
Anyone who can write their names on computers can now type directly in Indian languages (right now in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam) with Quillpad. It uses machine learning (AI) techniques to achieve this.
The President of Tachyon Technologies, the Bangalore – based company that developed it, said that this learning is just one-time and the trained set of patterns can be used by everyone using Quillpad technology. The moto of Quillpad is “English is not enough” thereby we want to empower people with other Language Tools too.
Unlike most transliteration systems today, which expect users to type adhering to some rigid rules, Quillpad allows one to type in intuitively and in turn, intelligently performs the corresponding transliteration. In a way to expand the usage of Quillpad now Quillpad has also introduced typing in Punjabi (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ) and Nepalese (नेपाली) to have major dominance in India clients.
With Quillpad you can type emails in these languages:
বাংলা ગુજરાતી हिन्दी ಕನ್ನಡ മലയാളം मराठी नेपाली ਪੰਜਾਬੀ தமிழ் తెలుగు
