Consider a scenario where you want to search for a place for your destination and with a single click you get all the information about that place like its map, photographs, hotels, famous places there etc.
Launched just a few months back by Yahoo India, Yahoo Glue pages does exactly that by congregating all your search results in a single place. I made a search on yahoo glue pages for Golden Temple.
You can see the screenshot where it gives me all the search results, map to reach their, its photographs, wikipedia definitions etc. to make my search a single stop shop by displaying the results alongside the usual Yahoo! India search or classic search results.
As this beta evolves, Yahoo! India will explore various ways to supplement algorithmically generated Glue Pages to make your search relevant, faster and better. You can also try Yahoo Glue to see how it works for your search.
