Pirates faster than Microsoft in launching & releasing Windows 7

The much talked about Windows 7 operating system (even called as Linux Killer) has brought Microsoft to troubled waters. The Windows 7 has been leaked to the internet even before its official release.

The beta version of the OS, reportedly Windows 7, build 7000, can be downloaded from several infamous torrent sites often used to share pirated content.

This news has been broken out by information week. The article says:

Microsoft isn’t planning to officially release beta copies of Windows 7 until its MSDN developers’ conference in January. A final version of the OS isn’t expected until late 2009 or early 2010.

Calendar year 2009 is surely going to be a tough road for Microsoft. Already the Microsoft had bad time with failure of 30GB Zune 2006 model. Now with the leak of their OS things are looking no better.
