Twitter had a massive growth in year 2008. It has around 1000% rise in UK and it will possibly overtake digg in US. Seeing the rising feet of Twitter, its acquisition wars and planning has already started.

The recent sources of Techncruch have found that Institutional Venture Partners(IVP) has valued twitter worth $250 million dollars (i.e. quarter billion dollars). Twitter has signed a term sheet with this venture fund to raise a new round at a $250 million valuation.

This is interesting if the deal has been signed as Twitter had recently turned down Facebook half a billion dollar ($500 million) acquisition offer. Now lets see what is in the pipeline for Twitter’s future.
