GTD is based on making it easy to store, track and retrieve all information related to the things that need to get done. The another name for GTD is also known as productivity. Software and apps help in achieving high productivity in minimum time.
In your personal life you probably use a lot of new communications tools like social networks, blogs and alerts. At work, however, you are likely still using email to get work done. Manymoon which is the Internet’s first social productivity application seems to have answer of it.
We caught up with Amit Kulkarni the CEO of Manymoon Inc, to get his perspective of Manymoon and also about his life:
MS: Where do you live? Are you married? Any children? Pets?
AK: I live in San Francisco. Luckily our office is in the city as well. We’re located in Union Square, which is next to the historic San Francisco cable cars (http://www.cablecarmuseum.org/car-powell.html).
MS: So tell our readers about your Product ManyMoon?
AK: Manymoon is a social productivity application. What’s that mean? We have taken the latest web technologies and ways of communicating (e.g., social networks) and utilized them to make it easier to work with the people around you. With Manymoon it’s simple to share and organize information like tasks, documents, links, projects and your status.
MS What is the USP of should our product and why an end user should prefer it?
AK: Manymoon solves the information overload problem by giving you a single repository to track, organize and share information. Our unique selling proposition include:
* The easiest online interface for managing your tasks, projects, links and documents.
* If you know how to use social networks then you’ll immediately be familiar with using Manymoon for work.
* The only application that provides integration with Google Docs and Google Calendar in a collaborative environment.
MS: Is ManyMoon your sole venture or you are on other stuffs too?
AK: We are 100% focused on Manymoon and making our customers more productive. It’s the only product we offer and keeps us very busy!
MS: Ok If you were not at Manymoon what do you think you’d be doing?
AK: Probably working on another Internet start-up. I’m actually very interested in mobile applications as well. We’ll be finding a way to tie this into Manymoon in the near future.
MS: When you are not busy at work what do you like to do? Any hobbies you’d like to share with our readers?
AK: I’m an avid runner. I recently ran in the US Half Marathon (13 miles). Running is a great way to clear your mind and relax.
