Computer Virus delays proceedings at Houston Municipal Courts

February 8th, 2009 by Manpreet | Filed under security.

Security and breaches are going hand in hand at major places now a days. Yesterday we reported a staggering $9 million swipe from ATM. Earlier also Monster.com saw a security breach which has raised a few eyebrows that are we safe today.

Bradley Olson from Chron.com reports that:

Houston shut down part of its municipal court operations Friday, canceling hearings and suspending arrests for minor offenses after a computer virus infected hundreds of its machines. City officials said they expected the problems to extend at least through Monday.

I hope that problem rectifies and they was just a trojan problem and not another security breach.
