Windows 7, download extended till 24th Jan, 2.5 M limit waived

In a dramatic turn around Windows 7 was supposed to have a major delay in their downloads but Windows 7 has finally opened the gates of download of Windows 7.  As of now the Windows 7 team has made it quite clear that you can download Windows 7 any time till 24th January, 2009.

Though we had tough times as it was quite unclear whether one could make to the first 2.5 Million downloads but folks the good news is that 2.5 million downloads has been waived. The official Windows 7 blog reported that:

Due to an enormous surge in demand, the download experience was not ideal so we listened and took the necessary steps to ensure a good experience. We have clearly heard that many of you want to check out the Windows 7 Beta and, as a result, we have decided remove the initial 2.5 million limit on the public beta for the next two weeks (thru January 24th)

So hurry up to download Windows 7 and here is the link (no secret in it ).
