Skype for Android

Skype had just rolled out 2.8 version for Mac but now I have got a confirmed news that skype will now be finally available for Android and 100 Java-Emabled Phones.

This launch builds on successful public testing last year and the incorporation of user feedback to an earlier beta version which was only available on a limited number of mobile devices.

The lite version of Skype works wherever your mobile phone works, without requiring a WiFi connection. To my surprise this news has exactly came after Webex on iphone was launched two days back.

This ongoing sweet little fight for mobile calling over messengers has now reached an interesting point.
