Apple itunes to go copyright free on many offerings

Last but not the least, Finally Apple has decided to vary prices and enable iTunes to offer songs free of copy protection software from the three largest music labels.

This is a much reflection of open source domination in software and internet world. Te first revolution was caused by Linux and now rest of the brands are following it.

According to the sources of Cnet News:

Song prices will be broken down into three categories–older songs from the catalog, midline songs (newer songs that aren’t big hits), and current hits

DRM-free songs are something that many iTunes users have requested for some time. And now lets see whether this demand is fulfilled by this latest deal ink by Apple to go DRM free is worth it.
